The next big Tsunami Surf Relief event hits the South Coast on Saturday 2nd July 2005!

The SouthCoaster event is taking place in Weymouth (Dorset), just west of Bournemouth. Events and competitions will be taking place throughout the day with plenty of prizes to be won, including a one off TSRUK Surfboard!!!

The day will consist of many events and competitions, including a beach volleyball comp, Board race, skate comp at the Weymouth Skate park, film event, and the big finale party hosted by the Tickled Hippy, and Farstar Promotions. All proceeds will be going predominantly to Tsunami Surf Relief UK, with a percentage of the profits going to help Surfers Against Sewage.

Beach Volleyball
Location: Weymouth Beach
4-a-side amateur division
2-a-side pro/am division
Group stages guaranteeing minimum number of games
Prizes for all finalists and runners up

Board Race
Location: Weymouth Beach
Everyone welcome, whatever you ride from shortboard to longboard, windsurfer to bodyboarder! It's all about the taking part! Lots of prizes to be one, and various categories to be entered to make it all fair! Top prize, a TSRUK (one off) 6'7" Shortboard, shaped by Matt Petrie of Bonito Surfboards

Skate Competition
Location: The Front Skate Park (Lodmoor, Weymouth)

'Billabong Odyssey' Film Event
Location: Cineworld Weymouth
Cineworld are kindly sponsoring a cinema screen on the day and showing the awesome big wave film 'Billabong Odyssey'.
Tickets priced at £5 with ALL proceeds going to Tsunami Surf Relief. Tickets will be available through the website, and in local shops, Second Wind and Windtek.

SouthCoaster After Party
Location: The Tickled Hippy Club (Weymouth Sea Front)
A one off night of audio and visual entertainment in association with Farstar Promotions. Entry will be a minimum donation of £3, with drinks promo's on the night. Get there early to avoid disappointment!
